CCISD News - Livestock PictureLeague City, TEXAS—Clear Creek Independent School District students are polishing hooves and fluffing feathers in preparation for the District’s 23rd Annual Livestock Show and Auction. The auction is 7 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 27 at the Clear Creek High School FFA Project Center. Dinner begins at 5:30 p.m. prior to the auction.

Funds raised by the auction go toward student scholarships. Last year’s auction raised more than $92,000 in scholarships for nearly 100 Clear Creek ISD high school students. Last year’s grand champion steer fetched $6,000 in student scholarships.

The event kicks off with a livestock preview and buyer’s dinner from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m., Sunday, Jan. 23 at the Project Center. Dinner is free for potential buyers. This is an opportunity for individuals to preview the livestock and meet other buyers to increase buying options.
