I understand that if I am selected to serve as a member of the Clear Creek ISD Subject Area Subcommittee I will attend SAS meetings; abide by District textbook adoption/selection guidelines and policies’; submit to the SAS textbook facilitator a plan for active involvement of colleagues through regular reports of SAS findings and actions; and solicit ideas and opinions regarding textbook adoption. Members also review samples of all textbooks under consideration and vote as informed SAS members who represent the best interest of the District in the adoption process. Also, a parent representative from one of the seven SASs will be selected to serve on the Local Adoption Committee.
