The University of Houston Clear Lake is hosting a household hazardous materials collection day on Saturday, October 29, 2005 from 8:00AM to 2:00PM at the University of Houston Clear Lake, 2700 Bay Area Blvd. - Campus Parking Lot D4.

League City Community Clean-up Event

The City of League City and IESI is hosting a community clean-up event for League City residents on Saturday, October 29, 2005 from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the City Hall Complex located at 300 W. Walker.

Residents are encouraged to drop off unused, heavy, trash items, white goods, motor oil that is contained, automotive batteries, metal for recycling and other recycled goods. NO commercial or hazardous waste items such as tires, items containing refrigerant (freon), paint, boats, car parts, or pesticides will be accepted.
